Registration is Open for 2023 Tournament!

The 2023 La Boule Cadienne de Lafayette International Pétanque Tournament will take place March 25 & 26, 2023 in Girard Park, in Lafayette. Jean-Yves Perronnet, National Technical Director of the French Pétanque Federation (FFPJP) has been invited again this year, and we expect him to conduct pétanque training classes in Lafayette, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Ville Platte, and Erath.

Our local pétanque club is a group of people who share a love of the outdoors, good conversation, and a healthy appetite for fun. We play on a regular monthly schedule, but also whenever the weather is nice and the mood strikes.

The courts are located in the northeast corner of the park, across from the rear of the UL Alumni Center. Parking is conveniently located along the one-way street behind the Center. Beginners are most welcome.

This is always a fun event, but just to let the serious players know, participation in our tournament does not provide for the accumulation of points towards Federation Petanque USA rankings.
